for once in my life i feel im function right/
head held high like im punchin at kites/
an assumetion of life without the guns n the knives/
where i can run in the night without jumpin in fights/
now im back in school, i get aroused by facts, they're jewels/
teaches preach knowledge and allow ya brain to act as tools/
forbidden once by me i wildly discarded books of vision/
now i soak up wisdom like pages lying on stacks in pools/
i compute my life and analyze the data that ive took in stride/
from obsticals thrown at me by people of the crooked type/
while lookin right i've blinded myself from the wrong/
my time has grown strong n' luck has changed like im pushin dice/
