hustlin just to stay alive
stealin just to get more high
lord help us all
how many times must we cry?
lookin down from the project windows
wondering how far will this life let me go
because these streets ain safe nomore
we need food on the table
milk for the babies
clothes on our back and shoes on our feet
7 of livin outta two bedrooms with no heat
how the hell are we suppose to survive
when we barely makin ends meat
how many more loved ones are we goin to loose to these streets
but i can see these streets ain safe nomore
a struggle just to stay strong
but it seems impossible
when everything thats right feel so wrong
gun shots in the middle of the night
whats goin on
starin into the mirror to find a reflection
not of own
realizing that i might never make it
because nothin in this life is free
unless i take it
so let the tears pour
so the world can see that these streets ain safe nomore

This is real nice, lovely (not calling it, even though it is in it own way, but you that is your 'name' on here...erm...*throws shovel away)..

...this was what it was...depicting the many hardships in 'ghettos'...from the extremes of some places, to the lesser extreme of another....the basics of what you depicted are still evident...

...i really felt ya on what you said...it was simple in many ways...yet effective..
