Last Nite I was thinking and dwelled on a thought
How can you know love if it wasn't taught?
It wasn't in textbooks, it wasn't in school.
It wasn't a game with instructions and rules.
How can you tell the difference between love & lust?
They both feel the same when 2 people touch.
Some use it for truth, others use it for play.

Was it love that kept me with him or lust that made me wanna stay?
Was it love that got me thru the bruises and black eyes?
or was it lust that couldn't live without him between my thighs?
His hands caressing me and tugging my hips.
Kisses caramel and gentle from his thick juicy lips.
Silouhette by flickered candles incense burning to tips.
Hennessy igniting higher flames in every sip.

Love led me to commit the crime
of staying with a nigga and he never was mine.
Lust made me believe that he felt the same
like I was the only one but then again it was game.

People don't love no more, they don't know the difference
It all starts out beautiful and that makes me suspicious.
Let's go Back 2 Love can we have it again?
Or did you not forget that Lust was a sin?
