That was the fight we had the last night I ever saw her face//
and it took me years to realise no one would take her place//

some say it was a heart attack some say it was a night theif//
But I will always remember that night and how she died from grief//
It taught me a lesson just like she said//
I wish I would have returned though, before my mother was dead//
I'll try harder with my own child I'll hold them tight//
But I know everything will repeat all back to that night//

this is the truest. the hard part of being someones parent.

well I'm not sleep....mami this was very much on point, I cant relate to like the 100th power so it sorta hit a spot ya digg but the emotion was there and so was the lyrics which makes it better keep doin whutcha do ma'
