My mind flutters
Walking the streets seeing these kids in gutters
I stutter
Wondering how they grew up not having a mother
It seems these days, kids are wasting away,
Out on the streets, sleeping, not wanting to play
But what can you say, what can you do
Give them a dolla so they can buy food
But they don't, kid, I don’t mean to be rude
But kid you’re fucked, you got no food on the shelf
How do you expect us to help you, when you can’t help yurrself
Try to make a buck, but you end up in jail
You ain’t even gotta a friend who can post you for bail
You ain’t even gotta home, to get a check in the mail
But you hope to be rap star but you try and you fail
And other day goes by with you looking out yurr cell
Wondering “how did I get myself locked up in this hell”
Thoughts of suicide got you under a spell
you don’t throw a penny, you throw yurrself in the well
