How do you begin to entertain faith with a compilation of facts
You don't give me a reason to believe in the midst of where I'm at
In my life, I see the effects of anthrax and stand back
Surround my domain with sand bags for the next time the storm attacks
Then counteract the fear that's compelled inside this shell
Sit for a spell and contemplate bein' banished to hell
Why was Abraham so special? Why was Abel killed by Cain?
Why did death reign? Why do we live in this world that's obviously stained?
Why complain? Every dream in life transfers me to better things
So why ask me to give up that to be a suffering servant and never mind my needs?
Why did Christ bleed for ME and what makes you think to explain Him
Why so much symbolism and hidden meanings set to, expressively, strain men?
I'm flesh and blood and I'm supposed to understand the concept of God's Breath
Being given to a man of dust and left with a world in his trust
Who doesn't have the courage to speak to a creature under his dominion
Who betrays his other half by not enforcing the authority given to him
~C'mon~
If I believe in one side, what about the other?
When I'm extremely pissed, I don't necessarily consider every man my brother

I'm essentially stimulated by what I see so why would he censor me
Those who believe the word but don't know more than half of what is there
Are unfair to themselves when solutions can't be shared
Yet you tell me to accept the Word for what it is: An inspiration
Divinely given to men to add dimension to the equation
And all you do is give me projected ideas to rest my head on
And I sleep on what you say because after ya small talk, there's nothing I've fed on
You talk faith and yet I ask for reasons to have it with no reply back
Next time you sit to spread the word~Pray~ then try that
That faith is useless
