Then and Now
 

I used to walk fast and not be so mean to people,
now I take my time and tell the truth to people,
I used to be clean and never hustle people,
now I fight dirty and over-muscle people,
I used to smile alot and be open with people,
now I frown alot and keep disclosed from people,

I used to be freaky and mess wit all the ladies,
now I think my girl's supressed the freak in me.....maybe,
I used to appreciate school and use it to learn,
now I hate school and use it to feed my hustle's yearns,
I used to think that lying would be the death of me,
now I understand that lying brings out the best in me,
I used to think my family cared for me more than others do,
now I realize that my family doesn't do things that others do,
I used to like going home just to enjoy the rest of the day,
now I think of going home and it ruins the rest of my day,

I used to think that rap would destroy my bother's life,
now think that rap has engulfed my entire life,
I used to think poetry was gay and full of garbage,
now I still think poetry is gay but not so much garbage,
I used to wonder if I could ever be somethin in life,
now I still wonder if I will ever do somethin in life,

there sure was alot of people in there lol... nice other than that lol.. OoNnEe
