You know what, we all like the bootleggars n all that shit, but on the real, so many "True" hip-hop fans bootleg all they shit, i's a wonder why yall expect yall artists to do good.

All the underground fans do nothing but bootleg, then wonder why ja is sellin so much. Why is it so many of yall like Rass Kass, or Canibus, or chino or whatever, but they don't sell shit? Cuz yall niggaz is cheap, yall (Me too) are the reason the game sux. Fuck all that talk of this shit and that shit, cuz that wouldn't be dominant if we bought anything else. Niggaz need to stop bootleggin and give labels a reason to think that these niggaz yall like is gonna sell.

I have found a way to come to terms with my piratannical habits.

The fact is I wouldn't buy any persons CD anyway. If I had five, ten, or twenty bucks, I'd rather spend that money on something important. Like food. Cause you never know when your next meal might come along.

So nobody I bootleg from is losing money, cause I'd never give it to 'em in the first place.

The problem is, you still have the CD. Meaning the shit they worked to make, is going out and making em no money. You know how long it takes to make them joints, and how much money it costs? The only ones who can afford it are the ja rules and stuff, that still aint no good excuse for bootlegging.

i D/L the songs off the CD and if its good.. i go and get the better quality off a music store coz those burned CDs lose the song quality over time.

a while making your Cd sound old

Call me a nerd but the quality is only affected by how good it
sounds on your computer

I usually try to convert my songs into 128 kbps

I buy Music from time to time

It’s just much easier to download and burn

bootlegs are a way of life these days.

let the kids with the 100 a week allowance buy them. i got better thing to spend my money on.. like rent.

i used to buy the real shit..but im close to broke these days so ill stick wit the bootlegs

I buy about 99% of my CDs........but I don't buy mainstream artists because they are the only ones bitching about losing a million dollars. Like they had something to do with that million to begin with other than buy a 12th car and hook it up.

I buy as many underground CDs as possible, but money doesn't grow on trees....I maybe have 4 burnt CDs in my collection:
Aesop - Music For Earthworms and Appleseed because they were going for about 75 on EBay for the burnt copies so I downloaded and made my own
Josh Martinez - Made In China.......didn't really know him at the time and didn't have any money to order it online
Canibus - Mic Club....... I'll be damned if I buy a Canibus CD when every one of his albums get mixed feelings and he is known to fuck them all up.....

I dont have a job yet so bootlegging is my only option. Who wants to make millionares out of others anyway?

^^really,cuz alotta CD's nowadayz have about 3 good songs out of like 15 or wuteva.I buy mixtapes more than LP's actually,so they're LEGAL bootlegs in a way.

That's why I preview them on HHI or Sandbox

don't ask me how, but I just manage to hustle in my cash and then buy a cd whenever I get a chance.....

well Devious u got a really good point there, but there's nuthin nun of us on the site can do about it,
i mean who wants to pay 30 dollas (AUD) when u can pay less then 10,
and plus sometimes u cant find the cd u want in the shop (espeically ova here) so the only way to cop that shit is to download it
