21 rap questions
New York Citayy
you are now rappin with me gotta love it I juss wanna chill and listen to rap/ i have some questions that we have to get at so rb come up with the answers hook:yooooo, you listen to rap now would you listen when its down, or out, would you still listen to it If rap fell off in a year would ya still love it? If the Big Tymers came out with a song would you download it? Raps been mainstream for bout a quarter century, its a combination of the heart and what you think mentally with tha money, and you could only buy a hoopty, would you quit? or show your love and continue to spit? the rap game is at stake and it is hurt, and are you by its side? If it came back up are you gonna be down to ride? even though ja rules singing is suicide? the rap game now is all about bling bling bling/ but back then it was all the rhymes that you could think/ when you could rap and only cuz you wanted to rhyme/ Not like today when peeps think of cash all the time/ And if it wasn't for Run DMC, would rap be the same as it was for a quarter century? And in ten years if rap changed would you like that? if you got a challenge in 5 years would you fight back? this is to test your loyalty so holla back hook now would you leave it if it got too much bling? or if the repition of gangstaness was the thing? Are your eyes opened when i ask the 21 questions? Cuz if so then you'll see how rap is a blessing/ do you trust it enough to have it a dream? Cuz rappers these days want the ching ching ching/ it would be nice to have a real rapper right about now/ Cuz Baby is blowin up bigger than jlos ass now/ Or would you rap cuz you wanted to get ya message across? or rap because of all the shit that you wanted to floss? would you start wit the realism of all the streets? get corrupted and punk out and start to sing? would you quit cuz the fans won't buy out yo shit? would you try to put a message out to little kids? Would you ever say that rap was a calling in life, but now its going thru a period of strife? and don't ever make the mistake/ a true emcee love rap like a fat kid love cake yooo/ hook one love yoooo |

this is a good remake, as remakes go, and personally I think this is the only good maistream 50 song right now. It had a good flow, and brought up a good point, because the rap that you were talking about is the exact opposite of what rap is now, because everyone is all about selling their albums and they don't give a damn what message they give out.
Good Work, check out my piece "My Beautiful One" Peace |
