Frustration, cloud separation, wishin the sun would shine through/
But unfortunately, when it rains, it always decides to pour/
Conversation with God askin him what exactly this life's for/
When 90 percent of the time you're strugglin to get on your feet/
Expects you to have faith in things when you're constantly facing defeat/
Desperately reaching out for dreams that you always awake from/
Hoping somewhere there's someone willin to show love/
Yet in reality you're on your own, you gotta earn it the hard way/
Not gonna stack chips by loungin couch-style with Frito Lay/
But stayin positive's a bitch when the news just portrays the worst/
Murders, Kidnappings, Domestic disputes, "You hear it first!"/
Got these teenagers rapping, crying for help, in every verse/
But these officals just watch, instead of the bus they ride the hearse/
And at the same time we're supposed to try and live the American dream/
While government robs us blind and destroys people's self-esteem/
Fuck that, I'm 21 and I'm already in a ton of debt/
Because of a lousy college degree, these bastards suggest I get/
I'm undeniable proof that the piece of paper don't really mean dick/
It just means I wasted money when I could've been writing this shit!
