The Story of Corey <Part 2>
 

The breeze hit his face, putting him in his place feeling weak to the knees |
The door kicked in, cops swarmed in looking Chinese, Japanese |
Ready to give their guns a slight squeeze if Corey didn't freeze |
He was frozen like the ice caps, ready to have his bones collapse |
He couldn't move hearing all his favorite raps |
In his head, had so much to go couldn't see himself dead |
He had to look ahead, to late now should have fled |
He lifted the chrome, shots ran out throughout his home |
The slugs went on the roam, smashing the dome |
That held the cops brain, he added a few more slain |
Digging himself deeper now he leapt for the window not a care of the rain |
That poured down hard and long, he didn't belong there did to much wrong |
But now was the time to stay strong, all day long |
He planned how to get out when the heat was to much to bear |
But he wasn't aware that he should have said his last prayer |
He ran past me now on the sidewalk only to glare like as a dare |
Not to stop him or try and help him, his story something like Jakob Ludwig Karl Grimm |
I watched as he kept on the run the sun getting dim, couldn't see him |
Anymore as for the skies became grey and the rain feel all day |
He stopped to pray, he felt the need as well as to shed the greed of the display |
He put on over the past few times, but that's the end of these rhymes |
Before Corey could finish his silence a shot rang out killing him for his crimes. |
