"Summer Time"
 

I just wrote this out of boredom...But please tell me what you think...

The summer breeze flows through your hair
Running down the road, without a care
Feeling the sand beneath your toes
The temperature in the highs, not the lows
Feeling the sun upon your skin
Glad that it is summer time once again
Looking out at the waves
Splashing into rocks and hidden caves
Spending all your time at the beach
The sun giving your hair a natural bleach
Going out to hang with friends
Picking up the summers new trends
Laying outside under the sun
Watching the younger ones have fun
Wearing Skirts and shorts
Being with family at local resorts
Enjoying the water and swimming
All the spring grass now needs trimming
The neighbors flowers have been planted
Your summer wishes are being granted
Schools out and summer has began
Laying under the sun and getting a tan
Not caring if you have a dollar or a dime
Your just happy that It's Summer Time
