starting a new life
 

i think its time to start a new life...
a life without gangstas and street thugs...
iv been put thru alot, phisically abused...
mentaly bruised, from all the drugs i choose...
so far my lifes been bout sex and drugs...
little by little its taking my life...
takin sip by sip till i get boozed...
i was only a baby, when i joined this crew...
still mad young, and innocent too...
the world took one look at me and saw no hope...
theres goes my life, being held up by skinny ropes...
im ready to die, my lifes on the line...
i already had a gun as soon as i turned nine...
if only i could turn back the hands of time...
until im sittin on my porch drinkin tha glass of wine...
wondering wat ill make from my life...
mayb next time around i wont b part of that strife...
i would give up the world jus to have a good life...
sell all my weapons mayb even my knives...
i wanna b an example, for my little sister...
so when she grows up, her mind wont b as twisted...
shes growing in a cruel world, a world of hate and lies..
in a world of drugs and desires...
last thing id want was for her to follow my ways...

wow...wat you feel is the same thing i went throw until i decided that it had to change....i buried everything i had and stood up for....dropped everything negative and tried by best to start a positive life style...i even moved out of the country to life wid my grandparentes to change...man jus keep your head up high...this poem was wat i felt...you can make it happen if you truly want to...
