i miss my daughter
 

i know this little girl.. gorgeous as anyone can see,
to young to know what pain is, to young to miss daddy,
waiting for the mans heart she won.. a man who seems to be wrong,
its not he doesnt love her, her just parents dont get along,
hes broke as joke, poverse, and missing a license to drive,
all because of spite, her mother wouldnt give her a ride,
she says he needs to change, and be a better man,
he thinks that hes changed for her as much as he can,
he knows he loves his daughter, and knows hes a good dad,
but she says hes crazy, lazy, and just plain mad,
she just doesnt understand,

i know this little girl.. shell be 18 in october,
she hasnt seen her dad in a few years and over,
she wonders what hes like, and why he never came,
and during that time, hes crying on a train,
he knows he wants to be with her and hold her in his arms,
but just because one mother.....
his heart is forever scarred.....
this woman just doesnt get it, how shes using the girl as a pawn,
in a game of chess between to assholes that has been going since dawn,
now her daddy doesn know her, and she doesnt know him,
she hates him outside but wants to loves him on the in,
all becuase two stupid people couldnt think of who comes first,
now we got this beautiful girl, and her life couldnt of been worse,

she had no dad on father daughter day,
she had no man to grab a baseball mit and play,
she had no father to watch her leave for prom,
she had no dad to watch her try for poms,
she had no asshole to chew out her loser dates,
she had no number one to help clean off her plates,
she didnt have a dad at her first little dance,
but her mom called her boyfriend to take her...
isnt it sad,

Deep man, I was feeling this..almost brought a tear to my eye. It kinda reminded me of something, like a movie or something but im not sure. Good job.

When I read this I stopped about half way, I started over and read it all the way through........I really liked this. It really made me think.........I mean I ain't a father but it most def touched me. Keep droppin'

dam what can i say i mean this is really sad ...just tha fact that a child doesnt get to be raised by both parents..tha child must feel the sense of like theres somethin missing in her life..and that goes tha same for tha father...but ay i really liked it ..very deep very deep...goodwork n much luv!

hey man i know what your feeling from my own experience. its not quiet the same as yours, but i know how much it eats the inside of you wishing you could know what they're like now and what they're doing and all you can do is kinda imangin it all. check my piece out and it explains my experience. anywho liked the piece it touched me and moved me keep it up
