Ancient Meadow
 

this is a patriotic scripture

I roll in the grass of an acient meadow,
Unbeknownst to me are the events of years gone past,
The effects of that era brought the peace I now enjoy,
A war was fought to allow my freedom,
The spirits of my dead countrymen still roam this ground,
Most long forgotten by today's society,
When did we lose our respect for the heroes,
Veterans, veterans to you I salute,
Now it is time for a revival of Nationalism,
The patriots of the past be reborn today,
They know what it means to live and die for a cause,
Because of them our nation stands strong,
But now too much time has passed between mass sacrifice,
This country that they fought for holds apathetic,
Please countrymen of the present stand and roar,
Our patriotism must rise like the Eagle,
That is my cry as I roll in the grass of this ancient meadow.

this wasnt bad,style was nice..real clean cut feeling of it
emotion and attitude was good, straight foward and respectful..

...i may or may not agree with what is said in some parts. But i understand it. And agree with the overall jist of it...(hey, i aint gonna be a cynical bastard on a piece like this)...
