1st up Beanie Sigel....~~ Beanie Sigel Out On Bail On Saturday, Dwight “Beanie Sigel” Grant, was released from jail after posting bail. Police claim Grant shot and injured Terrence Speller after the two men argued outside a bar in Philadelphia. These latest allegations against Grant, which Grant’s attorney, Fortunato Perri Jr., says his client is denying, add to a list of run-ins with the authorities. Later this month Grant is expected to be present at a preliminary hearing for assault charges, and in two weeks he will be arraigned on other charges related to firearms. RASS KASS IN PRISON 4 3 YRS~ Ras Kass Sentenced To 3 Years On June 30th, the Court System handed John Austin (Ras Kass) a 3 year sentence to be served in the California State Penitentiary..... He actually has to serve a certain amount based on what "strike" he was handed. If this is a First Strike, he has to only serve 50% of the handed sentence with 2-4 months already accredited to the sentence because of his time in the Las Vegas and Los Angeles jail systems. If this is considered a Second Strike, then Ras Kass will have to serve 85% of the handed sentence. Either way, Ras's management is predicting that Ras Kass will be released around this time in the Summer of 2004. |
