hey i need some help wif dese programs..
FRUITY LOOPS 3
ok..i know how to use this quite well, lyk doing piano rolls and basic stuff but i seem to always make kinda lyk dance beats wen i wanna make rap beats..can n e 1 gimme a basic outline on how to make good rap beats using piano rolls and basic stuff and linking the patterns together and so on?.. and also wen i save it into an mp3 or a wav the beat only goes on for 6 secs or so coz i havent linked and so on..n e help will be appreciated.

how can i save ma recordings into mp3s or wav files insted of acid pro files? and how can i post em on dis site if im in battles?

ACID PRO Question:

There should be a selection under File (I think) that says Render As (or something to that effect) and you can make it into an MP3 or whatever.

Fruityloops:

It is pretty hard to explain how to make a good beat on Fruityloops, I find the best method is to fuck around with everything and see what works. There are numerous forums dedicated to shit like this, find one of those. Also, check out the premade beats, and try to model after those.

make sure u slow the tempo to around 80-90 or it will usually sound like a dance beat lol.
