Drowning..
 

I aint written in a while. This is new. All comments appreciated.

Depression washes over me
Huge waves, on a high horizon
Sheets of water cleansing me
A cool, refreshing shower

Gravity pulls me in,
It embraces me
Unwilling to release me,
I'm now a victim of this nightmare.

The water drows me
Pushing me into the sea
I hold my breath
Trying hard to see

It engulfs me and pushes hard
Overpowering my senses
I can't hold it off
It savages me
Then it leaves me there, defenceless

I drift and rise
I'm lighter now
I leave my corpse behind
My spirit sores
With all its might

To a place far beyond life.

yo thats more of a poem than anything......but as a poem it's aight.....it had alot of symbolic pharases...and metaphors...cuz im sure the shower....thing means more than i says as well as the drowning...... i think ur view of life seems a lil worhtless....im ai right cuz from the sounds of that u sound depresed......

yeah i was feelin pretty down when i wrote it. i put it in poetic scriptures too, just tryin to get as much feedback as possible. depression was pretty much the runnin theme.
