A few words be said
before I lay this rose
Petels fall ajacent..
your life came to a close.

A laughter or a secret
across the beach we strand
Together my darling,
Ill never let go of your hand.

My love filled you deeply...
like all these grains of sand
With tide sprinkles memories
that roar across this land.

I fall into the seashore
unto your eyes i seek
and find a world
all too bittersweet.

A moon sleeps above us
Silence casts below
A glimpse into the future
a cold wind stills silver gallows.

Frail fingers exposed to the sun
Petels inravel in my hands
A piece of me forgotten
A slice of this lonely man

The dignity of sparrows
fly amoung the trees
rustle future in song
that toss about dead leaves

My lips to yours
through time you sleep
This rose will last forever
because your memory speaks.
