i been poor from the beginin all we eva had was 1 colered tube (tv) in the shack/ moms cant afford day care so its up to me to watch the kids till she comes back/ so i relax, dozin in and out of a nap/ tipsy off da liquor while the kids are sleep out back/ wit a bottle on my lap, reachin empty/ wit cribs playin fuzzy on the television while i think to myself damn only if that could of been me/i take another sip of the cheap stolen liquor and feel it burn on the way down/watchin a notice bein slipped unda da front door, stating...be evicted or pay now/ i jus lay down & tried to visualize myself in a different place /like somewhere in the carribean with life movin at a different pace/kickin back wit a cuban cigar and honeys of exotic race/ while bein fanned wit bananna leaves/ while i lay in a hammit unda palm treez/ bein refreshed by the mist comin from the ocean breeze/i get up and walk around the house lookin for valuables so i can pawn it/ but fell sick to my stomach so im staggerin to the bathroom to vomit/im on the bathroom floor wit chills and a cold sweat while my bodys aching/ my younger simbling knocks on the door, i tell em to go away the bathrooms takin/i open the door and crawl on my kneez to the front room, and lay on the floor balled up in sheets/i try to take a deep breath and hear my coal colered lungs weeze/ im rollin around coughin like an asthmetic wit no meds/shiverin wit sweat drippin off of my head/ then i woke up and looked at the clock that read 7:13 picture that me back in the hood thank god it was only a dream/ i got up took a shower in my marble tub and got somtin to eat then headed back to the kingsize bed to go back to sleep/
