Xzibit Beatdown...Requires 50 Stitches
 

Columbia recording artist Xzibit was attacked at the weekend by a group of gang members in what was described as a cowardly attack. The unprovoked attack was instigated after gang members recognised who Xzibit was on a night out in Los Angles. The gang was apparently not happy with the 'gang related' lyrics that X spits on his albums and jumped him.

Xzibit was out with his fiancee in LA without bodyguards when the attack occured. He required medical attention and received around 50 stitches. Despite widespread speculation, the incident while serious, will not affect his rapping career. He is expected to make a full recovery.

The attack comes after weeks of specualtion about Xzibit's career. The rumour mill has him trying to leave his current Columbia / Sony Records recording contract to join up with Eminem and Shady Records. So far, word is that Columbia will not release him from the deal.

..anyway, only thing X prolly do is clear up what happened on a record, but retaliation is very unlikly. That gang shit is nothing to play with, yhea it was lame how the gang jumped him, while he was just with his girl with no help, but thats what them gangs do, thats they itimidation factor, ain't no code of ethics no more.....

And I hope X get better 'cuz I don't wish bad heath on poeple, but words is power and don't think you gonna be out talkin' that thug and gansta shit and niggas not 'gon test you on it. If you on that shit be prepard to fight on the daily.

Xzibit is one of those few 'gangsta' rappers I actually like. But if I was him, I'd just use the event for something to rap about in various songs. I mean, how many people can say they got gangbanged and recovered fully? Most people die.

But that's just my one and a third cents.
