Ink thicker than blood
 

Through this pen seeps something that leaks creation/
To show our love or to show how much we hate them/
To show our inner most thoughts that were said unspeakable/
For us to be nice and kind or speak about the unthinkable/
To be or what not to that came from a pen/
So did the kid that talked about the mom he grew in/
We can say our opinion and speak it clearly/
Letting it sink in just wishing that they could hear me/
Our feelings can be blown way out of proportion/
Till they don't make sense way out of distortion/
You can talk about your fear's to a willing audience/
Or make us think about your words as you give us hints/
We'll feel the pain you felt when your parents passed away/
Or the regrets you felt after you blasted a stray/
Your beliefs on religion can be shown though the ink/
About your god who could destory us all in one blink/
The hard times you go though will be put in perspective/
Wondering to go one way or to choose the elective/
Thoughts of your happiest moment or dearest depature/
Thoughts of the cop or that of the protesting marcher/
Every feeling, every thought, every word you think of/
Waiting patiently to finish the line your on the brink of/
Like the person who hurries his lines with no hesitation/
