any tips for puttin 2gether a good 10line verse cos im full of ryhmes but my verses seem 2 plain,any advice? holla bk...MC Phoenix

first of all, 10 lines is an extremely short verse....8-10 bars is usuaully tha length of a verse for a song with 3 verses.....(1 bar = 2 lines)....first of all you gotta start out with your topic and decide how you are going to write ya verse: dropping verses with metaphors and shit showing lyricism, dropping realness, being about different rhyme scheming patterns, mixing them all together....Than you gotta gather up ideas to put in your verses and than just start freewriting and bring all tha shit together and into a verse.......and it's also better to pick tha right beat with tha right style to match tha song you are going to write and than play tha beat and write to tha beat.......
