In a community of fake thugs and Mc's,
Little boys dreamin about the day they become real G's,
They don't see the pain that it brings,
Just brains full of guns, women and platinum rings,
The life of a thug will get them shot,
Crying mothers lost all they've got.
Cemetarys filling by the day,
I'm trying to steer myself in a different way,
Gettin out of this hole,
Keep writin my poems for my GHETTO SOUL!
Till the violence comes to a cease,
And friends stop shootin at each other out on the streets,

I'll concentrate on wot i believe,
Not to be a G or the G's hoe,
But to put to use wot i know,
To give youngsters the life i never had,
Teach them that this world ain't all bad,
Cus at the end of the day,
It's the youth thats gonna lead the way,
And hows that gonna work,
When the streets r ran wid drugs and thugs,
I gettin out,
And showin youngsters wot it's REALLY all about

man i swear its a damn shame
boys so young already stuck in the game
slangin&grindin&making that cash
just as quick you make it, its gone twice as fast
felony charges and welfare is the excuse for sellin drugs
& being neglected and poor is what turns boys into thugs
young, stupid and blinded by the figures by white folks u labeled as just another nigga
stealing,jacking,killing doing anyhting to make it by
momma wish u could be at the crib, but all she can do is cry
an o.g. partner u knew put your hands on ya first weapon
and u felt u couldn't be faded when u left that first body resting
no way out the game, just like u was cursed
& you had no peace of mind until your body was in the back of the hurst
hard times in the hood, everyday people die struggling
& losing your life to the gun is the results of being YOUNG&THUGGIN.

and you did what they said...this was well done and
a dfference in the flow was noticable. In the third verse
its there,but then it goes away...

*being consistent*..only critique...and write what you would
say if you were actually speaking to somebody forreal

if the third verse was yours its all good but you have
~youngstes thuggin~ then the verse and you touched
on the many things that people live with and eventually
grow out of to some degree..made me think back
a couple years at least....shit was crazy.....

This was nice...(on the "I remember when" kinda tip) but its all good cause it gots me on some "where was she when I wuz..." kinda thoughts...nice felt...
