Against Ther Odds and No Hope No Home 2 peices

Special requirements, needed applications in sight
A better tomorrow I dream about every single night
Should I pray for a larger wealth instead of a strong health?
Should I live long enough to see the iced hearts melt?
I want to breathe solid, decide a reachable pace for me
Even when I know I won't survive in a place so destructively
Promise myself more than I give another
Show more devotion to friends than to my only brother
I did made mistakes, but showed inaccuracies with pride
If he lost the competence to live, should I grief that he died?
I know I am not a perfect breath of life, but at least I want to try
I don't smile a lot, but you'll never see my cry
Let's share, your property becomes my possession
Touching high value materials can become an obsession
Running fast is unnecessary if I can't reach that goal
Having a conscientious life is the one where I am in control

Let us pray:

Help me father, because I committed a sin
And I don't know with which of seven should I begin
I searched for guidance, but didn't knew where to look
I got stuck between the chapters while reading the holy book
I guessed the right ideas, choose the wrong facts
Started on the right road, but got deceived off the correct track
It seemed self explanatory, but I had to figure it out
But eventually I have to thank you lord, for showing me the rightcheous
route

Number 2
No Hope No Home

Burning lights horizon wakes to fading possibility
Lonely hope that it takes, pulled by hopeless gravity

With each town seems more unfimilier, and to me it seems it wakes
A feeling of the beast inside dieing for what it takes

Home is where the heart is to a heaven lost heartless mind
with each night horizon brakes and is lost farther behind

Finding home agien and all after home has burned
a place to leave my tired head is the goal that i have yurned

Sleeping while awake agien to feel empty is like this
even cuts don't brake the haze over that home i have missed

But eventually I have to thank you lord, for showing me the rightcheous route--this is a sicc verse man. i like the idea of ending this type of poem with a prayer of sorts. The beginning confused me just a little because i was interpreting it as a conversation between a son and estranged father and once i got to the bottom and read this verse i realized i was right and wrong it is a son and "father" just not the kind i envisioned.

As for the second piece i didn't feel it as much not because it was short but because i felt you forced it a tad. only because it didn't flow naturally me to me it rhymed and followed the criteria for a good flow but something was off to me. Sorry I did thoroughly enjoy the first piece though. 1
