I was tossed in this life…..lost and in strife/
Poor as fuck….but never misplaced tha cost of my pride/
Popz did every drug there was….became violent on doves and slugged/
My mom in her face….and tried to claim he did it for love/
Constant fightin takes place…prayin at night for some grace/
I was doin my homework…. when my father threw a knife at my face/
He choked out my brother…with a craze like no other/
Pledged his life to his wife…but he laid with another/
One night he came in tha kitchen bitchin…and hit her wit force/
I grabbed his gun from tha closet…we were tha victims no more/
Mom wept from her scars…his breath was wet from tha bar/
We left….drove to a supermarket parking lot and slept in tha car/
Went back tha next day…told him we had enough of his shit/
Not much loss…since that day…we haven’t seen much of that bitch/
