Fear
 

In life we approach many obstacles,
And throughout the duration of life,
We make decisions,
Good and bad.
Recently in my life,
I made a decision that I regret.
And I wish I could embrace the situation differently,
And Or, some how erase the memory…..
Fear is amongst us all.
And is a role in life.
Going through life without fear,
Is like being untouchable…

My fear in life,
Is life itself.
For,
Everyday is a new beginning,
Yet rapidly approaching its end.
I’m Blinded by the lies,
That expose the truth.
Therefore,
I’m left with insomnia,
And the thought of self- destruction.
Because I have failed,
Not my family, nor my friends,
But to the one person who means most,
The one person who has the ability to judge himself,
Me…

Now my life comes to a halt,
And I’m left with two options,
One: move on and never look back,
And live with the cicatrix and scars,
That I’ve endured through life..
Or,
Two: give up, and relinquish what I have accomplished…..
This is my life….
Therefore its my choice,
And I’d be proud to show my scars to the world,
And let everyone know that I’ve overcome my fear…..
