Fuck the pop chart, hiphop's my life & i love the art,
to the point my bloods breakdancing to the beatbox of my heart
These stop / start Candy Rappers are Decaying whats right
Hiphop is Not a type of music, its a Culture, a way of life.
On mics, we entertain, and for those who are not sure -
Rhythm And Poetry is exactly what 'RAP' stands for.
Not violence, drugs & graffiti, which is pertained as threatening
Tag writers are freely expressing using 3-D Dimensions.
Pops merely a reflection that saw a gap in the market,
made Pop stars go RnB, thus using rap as a target
But artists such as myself, sit back & laugh cuz its funny
when people like Timberlake are Justin it for the money.
They know nothing, or very little, of the culture their tryna riddle
Sure, the cash and fame would be nice, but its the music i live for
Not material objects, i still cut wax with the best,
and leave Bass Loops with High Hats in a Cymbal of suspense
Ever since i grasped that first spray can & began to write,
that wall became my work place, it was love at first Site.
Id practice every night, phats & slims were my chosen tools
Using faster pace to create a masterpiece of Old Skool
Where bold ruled, high top fades were the latest craze,
Nowadays itsthought 'Bein Real' means singing about gays
Yet im winning without praise, your revealing the true bitch in you
thinking your "Backpacker" cause of the music you listen to.
If you strongly believe that, then please, Stop
Because if you dont live it, then your not Hiphop.

This has too be one of the WHACKEST piece I have ever read......Just playing...lol..Yo man on the real Note , this piece was Fire........Your Flow was off the chain , Your Lyrics related too the topic throughout this piece......It had a strong message...Your Wordplay was Tight as hell...............I liked that one line ........when people like Timberlake are Justin it for the money.........lol , Tight Line right there dawg...........Some cats who read this piece , might not understand that line.............Overall I give this open mic a 9/10......

Damn dude that shit was awesome!!! the flow couldnt have been better, the wordplay kicked ass, and the message that u delivered was fuckin awesome. i loved readin it and id rate it a nine and half outta ten. GREAT SHIT!!!!

As a "die-hard fan" I am disappointed. . Gramatically, you're a bastard; you've never dropped a piece that didn't have good mechanics in every aspect. But you can think of a better topic than this, in my opinion.

However, as I read it over for the second time, I can't help but notice a few stand-out lines:

Of course i can do better topics, this was just the second of three pieces i wrote while on the train down to Barmouth, i wouldnt have bothered posting it if that kid hadnt asked me to for him. .
