Lisa: Forget The Pain And Fly Away

Forget the pain, and fly away,
That light will show your way.
You must have been to good for this world,
An angel, not just some girl.
I see your face with every face that passes.
I can’t stop playing the moment life crashes.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
Your wings don’t even have rust,
To young! Seventeen isn’t long enough.

I’m sorry, I’m sorry you were sore.
And I’m sorry that you had to soar.
Life’s not fair, and that’s not fair!
Why did got want you up there?
I now cherish every breath of air.
I asked why, but god won’t listen.
A twisted fate, which was over in an instant,
If you didn’t have a chance to cry,
There’s tears for you from my eyes.
In Utopia the wings flapped of a butterfly,
And you did too.

I wish I could have said bye, or give one last smile.
But you’ve made me cherish life, so I don’t want to see you for a while.

Simply a piece dedicated to a special someone from the bottom of Jamie's heart.

Life is not fair. This world isnt either. Death is beyond always in our doorsteps waiting for us to trip or stumble or even fall. Its not gonna be there to catch us but to watch us as we reached our very end. Sometimes its God's Plan but sometimes its merely a stolen time taken away. WE'll never know when will OUR TIME be but always cherish every moment of our lives like its the last time.

Just like our old classic Kansas said We are only" Dust in the Wind"

Very nice piece Jamie.

Save the grammatical critique - this piece doesn't warrant nor deserve it. A somber reminder, Bruk - a somber reminder, indeed - of the wonder(s) of life. A poetically-inclined piece, obviously, you ought to post in Poetic Sciptures, too. It would be inappropriate and distasteful to label this event as inspiration, but in a way, I think your writing will shine with a new luster down the road.

Don't sweat it, doggy. But, don't forget it, either. Good luck in coping -

Other days death is a plesant thing. It keeps life in line, but let's it last just as long as it's supposed to. It is nice to know that death, the parent of the two, takes responsibility for it's child. When the child does not live in harmony with the parent's rules, the roof comes crashing down. Then the child's father regrets it, and tells their child that they were too good for this world anyways. Which they usually were. Death is my daddy. Lisa, daddy loves you very much. Jamie loves you very much. Forget the pain and fly away.

You own, Bruk Lore.

Dopeness Bruk,
ive never seen a piece of yours with such in-depth emotion as you showed here, she obviously meant a lot to you or you felt strongly about her. As G.hod said - its not the grammatical structure thats importnant in this, the fact alone that it came from the heart and means a lot to you makes this doper than ANYTHING i could tell you right now. A great piece my man, nicely dedicated.

R.I.P
