The Light...finished
 

i awoke at 3 in the morning.. & stumbled through the darkness
dreams of eagles soaring.. their freedom i longed to harness
these walls are harmless.. i use them to guide me through the night
but is seems god also put them there.. to block my goals in life
i shot for the light.. but the angels mustve decided to block the net
the bulb burnt out.. just my soul and I, in the darkness we were left
back to bed i crept.. hopefully today wont resemble the last
heard my sister appyling cosmetics, she calls it make-up..i call it a mask
these days overlap.. same scenarios seem to reappear again and again
leaving me to wonder..is this the end of the beginning..or the beginning of the end?
got a dream to lend?.. i used to have few but i mustve woken up, cuz im all out
i know im destined to ride off into the sunset.. but is 'Defeat' the horse that i mount?
think i took the wrong route.. this path was promising but Dead End signs quickly draw near
its ok to cry inside.. but dont ever let the outside see a tear
itll never be clear.. desperate to be first to find the meaning of life but finishing dead last
i approach this exam with fear.. why bother studying? if life is a test ive already failed to pass
walking barefoot on broken glass.. i know ill get cut but What the Hell?
is this flatline the end or pre-ressurrection? its much too early to tell
