i hate poetry
 

I hate this terrible form of expression/
Because of poetry I experience depression/
Due 2 this ‘art’ I witness my other side/
Cheerful and chatty was how I once was described/
But now its asif I have mentally died/
My emotion aint caused the commotion I believe/
That ur own emotions have achieved/
Me 2 reach this mental state I was relieved/
2 escape emotional pain….i was deceived/
because from writing shit a separate part of me is alive/
its starting 2 thrive therefore im taking a nose dive/
Starting 2 think about love again/
Is once more starting 2 corrupt my brain/
I hate this pain which my brain has manifested/
I could understand it if i was molested/
Yet I wasn’t but this pain keeps resurfacing/
Its a lot more than concerning its disturbing/
I wish I never read that 1st piece of poetry/
But I did it unknowingly

Interesting piece here. I dont necessarily agree with it, but I certainly can understand it..

Really? Because of poetry i experience relief, respite..

I didnt really like that line, but the piece as a whole was interesting and original, I enjoyed reading it.

This definately is an interesting outlook on the subject..

when your angry or depressed dosent writing it
get your anger out when you do what your doing?

the topic made me not wanna read but im openminded
for the most part..the way you think is kinda reversed though

all lyrics are poetry....people express themselves to release
anger instead of picking up a weapon and shotting up a house..

or maybe thats just me..im happy I picked up that first piece
of poetry...or liked nas when he came out and made me think
that the world was mine this was okay but nothing stood out

I dont think you tried to make anything stand out either...

All I can say is this is exactly how I feel one hundred percent.

I can also say I never felt that way till I starting hanging out at this blasted site specificifully.

i agree i see poetry as a form of expressin my self and getting points and feelings
out

but on the othe hand ive become depressed reading other peoples poetry so i can get eh vibe

this peice was as well stated as the rest of your work
