Foggy Morning
 

Awoke one morning, & saw the light come storming through
sat up as i lied awake, and took a look at the morning dew
sleepy, i thought of nothing, but peaceful bliss, another day
knowing in reality, my afternoon was headed another way
Up, not showing pride in a days work, it showed pride in me
Getting dressed, but the bed.. got up on the wrong side of me
everything good, a perfect morning, fog covering my mirrors
this morning coming to a close - is another drawing nearer
opened up a window, and the light came streaming through
this foggy day, outside cool, is still inside just steaming you
not wanting clearer weather, just wanting back to sleep
or maybe a doughy pancake, or maybe in fact a heap -
i'd rather not wake up, but sleep from december in thru may..
breakfasts over - time to leave, ill keep to memory this day

I liked this topic,... it kinda had a poetic touch to it...
