Standing on the edge looking down
At the clean blue water crashing on the rocks
Of the harbor wall outlining the lake

I think of all the wrongs ive made
And how I would change them
But it to late for that
The past is the past
And you cant change it

Knowing everytime you turn your back
There is a knife ready to go in it
Ready to take it all away in a split second
Faster than ever imagined

Painfully enduring the stress of everyday life
Wishing for a break so you can work it out
But that will never happen to you
The only one that can help is laughing at you

After all is said and done
You look at yourself and know
Your like a tectonic plate
Your standing on a faultline
And any quick movement will send you down

I know just how you feel. As if you make one wrong move and everyone will come after you and stab you in the back with something that you have said or done. It seems as if then is when you find your true friends, when you let your guard down. I thought that this was a good piece. Keep it up MM.

this was a strong piece, full of hate and i feel some regret.
it starts off good, taking in some of the good in the world
then it picks up a little looking back and wishing
then boom it hits that 3rd piece was my fav coz its where it starts up, and in this piece doesnt really go down. which is a way a writing i like sometimes, and in this piece it fit, leaving it in our own minds to how the outcome for this man will be. nice
