^thats a link to a song entitled - "John" on Below Zero's album - Beginning Of Forever.

Listen to it, it really comes out strong with dope emotion and a REAL story topical.

Is there any more rappers who do this kinda thing reguarly, cos this is the type of shit i'm into.... Is this 'Weak' rap, is this taking more into Poetry or whatever rather than what raps about?

Discuss..

*Ehhhhhhhh, not really feel'n this playa...

no its not weak, neither is gangster, neither is self portrayel, neither is super intelligence confidential shit.

As a matter of truth, hip hop is a family of 5 elements, and rap in itself is split into so many forms. Gangster has the club feel to it, how can u flex a girl in a club whilst playing fucking jedi mind tricks - 'immaculate conception ' on? it wouldnt feel right. But if you had sum commercial shit on like - Joe Budden, u can get ya bitch :D. Logically, story telling and self-portrayel is where most skill is involved, and deep thoughts need to be taking into account for it. Rap has developed from a =

'Im gonna rock that in the street"
"I got that big, phat funky beat"

to

"And in a slug fest I get physical like physicians"
"Invisible like magicians with mystical mic traditions"

See...............

personally, i like self-portrayel and story/message telling
