Pre-prepared battle
 

I'm just wonderin what people think bout there opponants in battles havin a verse written down ready before they battle. Personaly I dont mind coz it dont change anythin. If people wanna write a verse the night before or whatever then that's fine with me. It'll help them elavate. I don't understand why some people on this site complain bout pre-written material. Give me some feedback with your views.

when i first read this post i was thinking you were talking of freestyle battles but then again... u guys are netceees so i gather ur talking about net battles.

here's a start. forget your net racord/text battles even your password and and start freestyling with your friends, then get yourself some skill, bur your pre-written's and make a name for your self that doesn't have the word user at the front.

pre-writing text battle... who gives a fuck, ur all retarded, pre writting freestyle, it ruins the art, don't give it a second thort, if u choke in a battle... u need more practice

i think its ok to pre-write cuz it gives the person a better chance at winning.......but it doesnt matter if u keystyle or not cuz it doesnt count as an element when it comes to voting.........if somebody says, "ohhhh i keystyled and u wrote that verse,im a win this fa sho". <thats a wanksta and it dont matter if u keystyled cuz they could have pre-wrote their stuff and say it was a keystyle......this has happened to me before thats why i have so much to say........FEEDBACK.......~!@@#@!!!!!!!!!!

i dont mind it as long as theres a time limit, cos if theyre isnt, the opponent has days to write a verse, and in that time they can make the best verse ever written (figure of speech)

but if theres a 2 day time limit, then everything will prolly be counted as pre written anyway, 2 days is a long time

i dont really like pre writtens because its like wogzta said if a person takes all day his verse is definantly gonna be off the chain. but i guess they are ok as long as there is a time limit

GetOffTheNet seriously needs to shut the fuck up. I mean, everyone knows that one, real life rapbattleing doesn't get you anywhere. Not even famous (Is why no one knows who the fuck Eyedea is.) And two, the internet is about the only place people can get some legitamate opponents. Clearly, the only rap battling GetOffTheNet is in the school lunch room.

But onto the subject, personally I don't rapbattle. Mostly because I suck at it, but also because I don't have time for it. I think everyone should have some punchlines of their own stored away for that proverbial rainyday. Just don't show up and read off a notepad.

It's also good to have a few things memorized simply because you never know when you might need to anally rip someone.

netbattling doesnt get u anywhere .....lol......It was a mistake me even doing it what u need to fo is get into wrting songs like topical ....as well as an optional career it really works your brain out and helps you to find a side of yourself that u possibly never had....................................Fuck text battling go get a topic and write some shit down

the reason people freestyle battle is because they love the scene/hip hop not to get famous

"NET-BATTLING=all good to have pre-writtins if your battling cause ya usually have a time limit anyway, so its obvious everything was prepared, if ya had a time-limit of say 10-mins. then maybe that could be classed as a freestyle/keystyle of the top. but over-all, pre's are meant for net-battlin

"VERBAL BATTLING" its all good to have punches or wateva hiddin away, and ready for use, long as they yours, they fresh, and it fits the scene, then why not bust it. not through ya whole freestyle, just maybe as a filler, or if it fits the scene

Prewritten shit is fine with me, it just gives them less of an extent, they think of something beforehand and thne leave it alone, while the people that dont prewrite come up with sick shit in their head that is probably better then the other persons stuff was when they originally wrote it down.

In my view it's okay.Like you said it helps them elavate I don't have a problem with it.Unless they take forever to post then theres something wrong

I've gotta admit that for some of my battles on here I've used prewritten shit. Not all my battles tho. One of my wins was prewritten and two of my losses. The others were keystyles but i'm always writin in my free time. And it helps when I am keystylin and just tryin to freestyle in my head. Words seem to come easier to me.
