Dear Journal,

softness of faith, felt the essence of my life praised,
discussed with fate to be the memory of new days.
passed the phase, thrive off the weakness of lives,
thoughts collide, knew u in the instant of seen eyes.
hated and despised, believed in what i chose in life,
never in the mood to fight, i new wrongs from rights.
king of the outkasts, wore the crown no one would,
walked the plank for victors but still misunderstood.
continued the journey, even through deaths vallies,
discriminated against, couldnt even have a pep rally.
life was a mess, lived on what we were and had left,
never would we except, peace would lay us to rest.
aprehended by our foes, lost the pads of our control,
didnt attack us with physic, they corrupted the soul.
took to the end of the line, stood stiff with true anxiety,
looked at society & noticed it lacked all of its variety.
my people never left my side, tears shed from the skies,
they could never cover belief, unless dressed for disguise.
saw my mothers eyes, the X marked my ending spot,
the land was vast, no longer would our people stay to rot.
in the end, the pain was good, i knew that we didnt fail.
mind was strong, but my flesh wasnt as Tough as a Nail.
