I Came From Nothing, A Product of The Slums Of The West
Survival kept me under it's stress....
Squeezing at the fiery heart, beating under my chest
Tears of pain slowly rain til I thought I'd be spent...
My vision of reality would be seen as a tradgedy
The streets developed me before nature could do it naturally..
A child in a man's world, forced to deal with it's savageries
A deadly obstacle course I race through for a salary...
I skipped over the traps of mary jane and crack
Hazardous jobs for even the gamest cats...
On the same track as slanging rap
Make the product, package it, hit the block, see what it brings me back...
Under these principles I felt invincible
But no one is invincible like no one's indispensable...
The game is fickle, short lived is fame for most
So I focus on longevity, maintain my flow (I got to get it)

I keep a place, for that money stashed up under the rug...
Plus I'm known to keep it locked, with a couple of drugs
And a nine in the drawer with a couple of slugs. (I got to get it) 2x

Hard times make a hard mind
My mind was focused on a harsher world at all times...
A cold world, where food was scarce at most
Where fending for yourself was a daily mission,and by law you shared with your folks...
You might eat today, and starve the next...
Got to depend on, government checks to get us out of this mess...
Then I found a way up out of my stress
Approach the block eith finesse, dump my knot then I'm up outta that bitch....
Then the block got all crowded and shit, with them rowdy misfits
Burning the block up, out there clowning and shit...
Taught me lessons that I take as a blessing, helped my paper progression
It's not my taste to stay complaced in a section...
But still now it's seems my chances are stacked
I got to get on a track, where money stacks dont come with hits on my back
Or police holding me back, that got me ready to rap
