Lose The Groupie's And Get Back At It!

Who needs to drop an album. There's people out there who just haven't been keeping it up as of late...tisk tisk.

Mos Def

Aesop Rock - I bought Bazooka...and lets just say it isn't in my CD case I carry around =/ Fuck JMJ and get your head back fag.

Smut Peddlers - For me!!! lool, I know it will never happen, they're done. They broke. Doesn't matter, I would probably never even listen to it, just for the shelf you know.

I thought Bazooka Tooth was pretty good....... but it definitely is a huge step down from his earlier work......

True, Aesop did include quite a few Jam Master Jay shout outs...

Mos Def is too busy pimping himself to the big corporations that he detracted in Black On Both Sides......

Shit, I'm still waiting on another Black Star album to come out.....

The reason I didn't like Bazooka Tooth was because he didn't stay up with the style and way he was with before. Thats why I liked Ace...so I'm bitter lol.

i have never listened to none of the artist you stated. LOL. except mos def. i got that blackstar album. lets just say i carry that and talibs reflections eternal all day. :)

Bazooka Tooth was a quality album, thats what i dont understand about the kids slating it, his delivery was dope thoughout and tracks like. . "Greatest Pacman Win. ." were dope as fuck.

Id actually like to see Tame One drop a newer disc, ive been bumping When Rappers Attack since before it came out till now. I Know it all off by heart, shits fucking sick. .

i could careless about aesop and smut peddlers.

but mos needs to release one.

you could add chino XL and OC to that list to.

Mr. Lif - Sleepy heads was aiiight, its been over a year since lif took a few shots at politics, time to go back to the lab man

Quasimoto- the track on Jaylib was good, time for another insanely good blunt album though

Aesop fell off from his original ways...thus why I don't care for him.

Baron Mynd 11-14-03 06:56 PM

^ Kids like you just amp their expectations up too high, then when they finalkly hear the album, they end up dissapointed.

Next time - Expect his album to be shit, you'll like it more. = )

Token 11-14-03 06:56 PM

^ I Agree... But In His Early Days He Was Dope

DEL the funkee 11-14-03 06:58 PM

He's still dope now, he's just rapping about boring shit.

half of that bazooka album was straight filler.

were famous? GARBAGE

Baron Mynd 11-14-03 06:59 PM

He isnt all that old now, its just that kids who dont fully understand what he's about started listening to him just to appear cool. = /

C-Section 11-14-03 07:06 PM

^n-demik is the only person that i have seen that could explain aesop's lryics.

everyone else just says "it means what ever you want it to mean thats the art of abstrat"

or

"dont focus on everyline you just need to understand the meaning of the song.

i hate that abstract shit.

Baron Mynd 11-14-03 07:07 PM

^ I mentioned no names. = )
