So many thoughts runnin through my mind....
all the time, they confuse me, they intertwine....
with my actions that lead to consequences.....
resurrections of past painful recollections.....
I've been the cause for many people's heartaches.....
I suffer for the bonds in which I had to break....
Past relations come and gone....
And they all blew up in my face stronger than a bomb.......
How could I have betrayed him, my best friend?
He forgave me, but the torment within me has no end........
The pain I endure is the least I can do.........
"I'm exaggeratin," he might think, but there's more to this, too....
The pressure of livin up to expectations you can’t make..........
I try to keep it real 100% and never be fake.........
For the sake of the ones who, in me, they have faith......
My success in the future goes to them, from my mind they’ll never escape.......
Tryin my best to help the ones who need it.......
But this pessimistic world rubs me off like a bad wound, bleedin....
It doesn’t make sense, these thoughts in my mind......
Confining me to face a limited future, strapped by binds........
Shit, got me insane, on a runaway train.....
Like Ozzy Osbourne, might as well have drugs fuckin wit my brain
Let bygones be bygones, is what everyone says......
What happened when those bygones come and knocks me in the head?
Infecting my head with a lingering feeling of dread?
Makin me wish for a turnin back of the clock instead?
Oh, what I would give to have God grant me that at last.....
A chance to rewind and rewrite the past.........
But it’s time to live for tomorrow and face the pain today.....
Eventually tomorrow will grow brighter, and the pain will fade away......
In the meantime, I’ve still got a life to live and bad emcees in this site to rid.........
