But through all the tears and heartaches
There’s one thing that made me glad
That you chose me to share with you
The wonderful years we had
I often lay awake at night
When the world is fast asleep
And take a walk down memory lane
With tears upon my cheeks
I cannot bring those great days back
When we were together
But loving memories of the past
Will be with me forever

A great poem that came from your heart. Short and sweet. And may I say a great job. I personally loved it, and see nothing wrong with it. Memories are what ppl cherish and those help us go through life, even if they are painful. Flow was great and it came from ur heart with all of the emotion you had. Great job. Most respect.

Even as short as this may be it got me thinking deep. Taking the memories of me and my princess and holding them tighter to my heart. Wanting to hold her tighter to me and never let her go. Memories are good and bad. With her I want to make them a lifetime of memories till the end. as they say "till death do we part". Thanks filed I needed this. Much love and repsect. JT

i can relate to all of this, it's crazy
the simple-ness made this piece more effective
portrayed the emotion, the sense of being over, but still holding on to the good times
