Abusive Love - the sequel to an old poem of mine
 

When that nigga takes his hand to your cheek,
All your world falls apart around you,
Same as last week, all the abuse is catching up with you,
What ya gonna do? when he hits you again and this time, really hurts you,
You try to keep your head up, slowly dying,
On the inside broken tears i hear you crying.
Locked in the bathroom, screaming his name,
Your face battered and bruised a sign of your pain,
You got nothing to gain, by staying close to this man,
He's only gonna hit you again!With the back of his hand!
You tell me you love him, girl we all think your wrong,
How can this be? When he's hurt you for so long?
You don't deserve to be punished this way,
What gives him the power to hit you everyday?
And how can you stand it? i know now that your brave,
But you gotta gravitate, give over being his slave.
Pure evil, is the man that raised his hand to a woman,
Theres no excuse for it, not even if she had it coming,
It would have been so easy for you to up and leave,
But i believe that you love him, thats hard to achieve,
Fucked up from when he beat ya, girl he messed with your head,
Still you swear you'll never walk out, even if you end up dead.

I hate domestic violence. This was a good drop. It had some good points in it with a good topic.

thought the topic was good, and you got the point across well, your vocab was ok, it flowed nicely and was well structured.....your word play could use some work, but on the whole the piece worked....Pc.......
