Just last night you beat me until your hands hurt and my face showed red,
You laid me lying there in a pool of my own blood, wishing I was dead,

You're about to put me in my grave, but I'm not one to sit and wait,
The next time you hit me, I'm not going to run, hide, or even cower,
When I come back at you, you'll be shocked, but this rage has me overpowered,
I'm sick of crying myself to sleep, with open wounds all acrossed my cheek,
You can't do this to anymore, I'm standing up to you, I'm no longer weak,
I dont deserve this, and you can't do this to me, I'm not going to let you,
I'm fighting back, I'm walking out of your life, and theres nothing you can do.

Much love gurl. This is something that hit me deep. I too was beaten by one of my boyfriends, and I didnt have the drive to get away. But eventually I did. There was madd emotion here, and I felt it all. It brought a tear to my eye, especially cause of the memories. Great job gurl. One of ur best. Most respect.
