ok, im 18 so i have nothing to worry about.


my step brother was convicted on 2 counts of sexual assault two weeks ago, and ordered by the court, hes not allowed to be alone with anyone under 12 for more than 5 minutes at anytime.


well, my step mother being the dumbass that she is, chose to leave my little brother with the pedophile for a whole weekend...


since his conviction, hes been ordered to counseling and has to register as a sex offender. this basically means that everybody that lives around them knows what he did, who he did it to, and what the consequences of him donig it are. one of their neighbors noticed that my step mothers car wasnt there and called the police. the took my brother away, and put her in jail.


now, my father and i were kicked out of the house last year, which devasted him financially. my father lives with a friend of his a in 1 bedroom apartment. Colorado state says that there must be 2 bedrooms per 3 residence at a single place. the state is going to try to take my little brother away. i spent all day yesterday speaking with social workers conerning the habits and parenting of my former family, but these people are trained pros. they can tell if someone is lieing based on body posture, eye position, and all sorts of other good stuff.


i tried to talk my family up, but they arent going to let my brother go with his mom as long as my step brother is there, and they arent going to allow him to live with my dad because he financially cant support him right now.


and also, my dad has been out of the job for 3 years due to 3 cracked disks in his back and a blown out knee. he cant work, he cant do anything.


i dont want my little brother to grow up in a foster home, but there is nothing that can be done. i feel so helpless, there is nothing that i can do to help.

workmans comp. they fuck him all the time too.. sometimes they just wont even pay him at all. there is no way that they would give him to me... i dont have a house either.. plus, im only making like 18k a year... which is shit if you have a kid.

Well, its a hard situation. Though I've never been in it, I just...know this stuff. Don't ask why.
Whats your job Dez? Its rare that an 18 year old holds a job enough to pay for a place of their own and food let alone another person, especially a child.
Also it will cost a lot for Dez to pay for a babysitter for all the time you'll be working.

In this case...it is really hard because of the money...But, Dez, maybe you can do it for a bit, find a foster parent that is right and is close so you can see him all the time.

Just a thought...
