Eddie

Sometimes we forget what would happen if we were in others' shoes
And make a kid go through as much pain as their mothers' do
When those who struggle have the chance to live a normal life
Why do we decide that its not allowed and make that child grieve in strife

Let me inform you, Eddie was normal, from what your eyes could see
But most people let their eyes decieve, and judge by what lies beneath
Most kids in school came strapped with knives, others high, damn trippy
Eddie came in to school strapped with a chest plate and an IQ of 60

He was teased, mocked, hurt and laughed but never went off the deep end
He was older than all the rest, and knew his emotions and where to keep them
"BIG PARTY TONIGHT", "can I go mom, can I go please?"
Yes Eddie dear, inside she worried for him, but showed she was pleased

He arrived there early, this was his chance, he patted his plate
His chance to make some real friends, possibly come out with a date
He heard his name, whirled around, 5 boys stepped up beside
"Yo Eddie, come here man" He knew there was trouble, and ran up inside

They gave chase, dragged him to the bathroom, and brutally assaulted Ed
You wont believe what they said, "He didnt belong here, he was a SPED"
The ambulance took him away, holding on to life, but crying loud
They beat him up, but also took his pride, thats it! He let himself slip into shroud...



this is a true story about a kid from my school, his real name was Emanuel, just thought I'd give a heads up that this shit does happen and its fuckin wrong

Im in a world with situations, wars in many locations
But sooner or later, it will come back to me in rotation
Im facin Deep thoughts, that bring deadly participation
Motivation coming hard, forced uppon the education
But now I have a chance, a glance to revive my stance
Take out my hatred, Fill it with Romance
Now I can inhance my game, a chance to get my credit
No need to edit, my mind still finding things pathetic
Im not accepting what god has given so kindly
Not appriciating, but seem to start un-winding
His light now blinding, reminding me of my mistake
I didnt embrace my chance, the thoughts make me fake...
I Had " a chance of a lifetime " finally the right sign
But I took it for granted, ive crossed that fine line
Now im never forgiven, dispair im liven
No one care, Ive driven to long and lost the ignition
my time to listen, and I didnt pay attention
i would be happy, but the sad seems to be skippin ( like a record skip )...

I had a "chance of a lifetime", dont be like me and take it for granted
I was handed a simple plane, and was effortless to understand it
Now im facing Hell with his faces of perception
lethal injections of poisons, from how he shows his effection
This is a lesson earned, so take the time to right rhymes

wordplay was a lil choppy, and i thought inconsistant, but i liked your drop, it has some very nice immagery in places.

yeah i think high class took this by far very nice job mayne....i just felt that tribz was too simple...high had nice vocab and actually impressive flow...nice battle guys...um and daddy says make sure you put the effort in voting as well...-1-

ya i think you deserved to win this
i just wasnt feeling this topic.. at all

Vote High Class, he had more flow although I found tribs was more unique cuz it was true i found high hit harder, both good verses i just think some things needed some more flow and indepth emtion and explanition props to both

high class...had higher class in every aspect
other dude i'd get lost with...i didn't like it bein all that strected...
it wasn't that great of a telling there....
