i have a gc, i like my gc alot. it depends on da person tho. do u like to just have violent games where u shoot ppl? like basically no thinkin or do u want games dat are more fresh? F zero is tite. metroid prime is a real good game, its fun, but it is hard. so if ya aint good at video games then dont even bother with it. then theres a ol original games. if ya like da old super nintendo(my fav system) then u should get super mario sunshine, it might not be gangsta or anything like gta3, but it is fun and very innovative, just like da good ol days wit a super nintendo. then theres multiplayer games like timesplitters 2( fun first person shooter) and super smash bros, if ya had an old N64 and played super smash bros, then get super smash bros melee. ull be able to kick ppls asses with link, mario, bowser, dk and a whole lot more. then theres mario kart, fun game fasho, and playin it online just ads more to da multiplayer experience. if ya like horror adventure games, then gc has a couple of good ones too, Restident evil the remake brings back da old feelin and is a good challenge(and gettin to blow da shit outa unholy zobie monsters doesnt hurt either) theres Resident evil 0, basically da same as Resident evil the remake but new characters and new switch system where u can change between characters to make it more of a thinkin game(ads a new dimension to the old RE formula). theres also Eternal darkness, very new concept to a horror game, they got an insanity feature which fucks with u alot, like u start to go crazy in da game. u get to innihilate monsters with swords, guns, fire and much more. oh, and if ya like zelda, then theres one of da best games ever made, zelda wind waker, ya sure its kiddy but i bet most adults cant even beat it. its hard and challenging but still an incredible experience. sports games are not the gamecubes strong point, u wont find an abbundant ammount of sports game on gc. for action games dey got Viewtiful joe, its a new take on the old beat em up(kinda like contra except way fuckin better) theres slow down(a matrix like power which slows down the action on screen and lets u kick ass in slow motion) then theres speed up dat when u start beatin da shit outa ure enemies so bad, u get so hot, ure on fuckin fire!. so if sum of these games sound interesting, then by all means go buy a damn gc. im real satisfied wit mines. btw, get if ure a fighting game fan, soul calibur 2.
