How often is, an orphanage, in ya prayers?
And does ya wish list this Christmas, ask ta become a saviour?
These aren't religious questions, I'm lookin for good will...
But I'm not seeking charity, just a heart to fill.
I wanna make a difference, in someone's life, ya see...
Someone who's not able ta live, as good a life as me.
Someone who's feeling pain, in this season of joy...
Perhaps I could help a family, who's just buried their baby boy.
Would a healthy donation, to my local women's center...
Keep a wife from being battered, would it really prevent her?
I could drive a feast downtown, and feed all the homeless...
Fill their stomachs now, so at least one day won't seem hopeless.
I can give till my pockets empty, and I doubt it'd make a dent...
Maybe it would, if others could, help make it a recurring event.
We all need to be thankful, and give back to the melting pot...
Everyone online here, compared to others, has alot.
This isn't just for Americans, it's for everyone who feels...
If everyone gave just a little bit, the whole world could finally heal.

Thoughtful drop my good friend. Although the mechanics of it were not exactly perfect, you have chosen a topic that i have not seen before..and originality is definately a plus. This was better than the average peice because it might actually have a positive effect on the world..
