Actually, it's a hell of a lot harder to flow well over a beat than it is to maintain a cadence spitting acapella. Have you ever tried recording a song? Shit takes a lotta skill.

freestyling over a beat u can say bullshit, freestyle acapalla wit a flow is much harder, i've recorded songs, its hard but not as hard as flowing wit no beat, a beat can talk to you a lil bit and make up for lame shit that tha artist says, no beat=no excuse

Wtf are you talking about. You can't fall off beat when you have none. That's just stupidity that it is harder. Blah.

Oh and if you're not that good at freestyling. Pick beats with simple baseline structures and no switch-ups.

its obvious that you are a rookie, with no beat its wayyyyyyyyyyy harder to establish and maintain a flow, examples of a beat making up for bullshit. Puffy on "All about the Benjamins" more recent Kanye West on "Slow Jamz" listen to those without a beat and you'll change the fucking song.

oh, and u can definately fall off beat in an accapella. sure most people won't notice if they listen to the accapella alone. but musicians and producers will notice. n if u ever try to match it to a beat it will sound shit if it doesn't match a tempo. (speakin as a producer who has had to match both on tempo accapella's and off tempo accapella's).
