get a condenser mic. try akg c3000, shure condensers, just find a nice affordable condenser. dynamic mics dont get that clarity. usually |

try the m-audio preamps. those are nice. I don't like the soundcards on cpu. If you have a condenser mic you wont be able to apply phantom power. It's nice to have a good gain stage for optimal... |

boost in the 100hz to 250hz. cut in the mid ranges 500hz to 900 where the mudiness lurks. look how to sweep frequencys. |
