It wasnt aimed as a diss towards you, i was speaking in general. A lot of kids start off only hearing Eminem and fellow mainstream stuff, along with some they consider "Underground" where the music is all abouty bling bling, guns, and women. That's all i meant by that, i wasnt aiming anything towards you being an Em groupie, so dont take it out of context.

Like I said, I like Immortal Technique's ability to tell a story and paint a picture. Punches and wordplay? Did you even listen to the songs I said I liked?[i]

Of course i ve listened to them. Ive known of Technique roughly two years ago, and at first - i was amazed with him as you are now. I said punches and wordplay because that's what most catch on to him for first, i did when i heard him. He isnt strictly storytelling you know, a lot of his stuff from back when Dance With The Devil dropped was multi's, punch-in's and wordplay, hence what i said.

I said he was decent. It's personal preference, just cause you dont agree with me doesnt mean im wrong. Ignorant? Doubt it. I liked him when i first heard him, thought he was nice, but as i said - that was years ago, my music taste has changed a lot since then, you cant force your opinions on me. Like i said, its down to personal preference, so accept i think he is decent and dont try changing MY opinion.

Nut hug? No. I never once said they were great or that anyone else should go and listen to them. I said ME PERSONALLY likess them and listens to them because their creating now what i see as where hiphop will go in the future. They dont care about catchy hook's, beats to nod your head to, nice flow, wordplay / punch in's etc, their more poetry and spoken word than anything. and THAT appeals to ME personally more than Technique does. In MY opinion I prefer them more, you dont have to follow me. Undeground hiphop isnt one set type of music, it's several different types. Stuff you like, a lot of others wont.

I just downloaded the song "Big Shots" by Eyedea. Lyrics were nice, everything was good. . except one thing.
It didn't grab me, it wasn't very interesting and was a drag to listen to. Keep tryin fellas.

Hmmmm .. im not saying YOU will like this song, but listen to Birth Of A Fish by Eyedea .. the storytelling, moral, point behind, and originality of that track alone makes it dope in its own right. Again, im not saying you will like it, its all down to personal preference at the end of the day.
