Life is a gift, givin by love..but was not love blind..
Dreams of a better future the strength of mankind..
I'd give, if i could..but right now i'd be mad if i would..
My family, radiant as ever..their love i absorb as food..
Cuz it 'fills' me, the feelin is 'empty' cause it cant digest..
Face the mirror no regrets, did not act out of self interest..
Still i say im greatfull, cause im here n able to tell a tale..
Half the people in my situtation ended up in county jail...
I stand strong, proud..regardless my financials..n wage..
...Lets make a joke my wage is the same as my age...
I forget when smiles shine upon kids faces..ever so bright..
My house, no electricty..still i swear i've seen the light..
